Day 2 was fairly uneventful as expected. Indiana was a LONG and somewhat boring state to drive through. The roads were not in good shape and the 80 route of Indiana is much more exciting. Illinois was a tad better, but just a tad! The 70 route is actually better for IL. It seems they are flipping, so if I would ever suggest a route....do both!Michael and Nicholas had a rough day during the 500 mile drive...Play Station 3, and naps, while Patty and me were watching the grass grow...SLOW. Motor homes over 5 tons (we are 25 tons)can only go 55...ARGH!
The Casino Queen Campground (a parking lot in a casino) is...lets say interesting. As you can see we are about 1/2 mile across the river and can see the Arches, which is a really very amazing.
Toady we are off to the Arches and then to Kansas...Have a Very blessed day, and we will speak to you all tomorrow!

Rough day...napping, Play station, kids have it easy. Don't let them sleep and miss out seeing all of the sights along the way. Even though parts may seem boring, it is some place new and good to know how the US looks in other states.
Stay safe and stop speeding @ all of 55!!!
