Good evening / morning once again from Zion Ponderosa, Utah
Today by far was a catch up day. The MH needed some minor repairs that took me a few hours to do. Patty caught up on Laundry, while the kids caught up on fun in the pool, skeet shooting, and general horsing around!
We did a sunset set tour to get a sense of the park, and see the area from above…WOW, what a cool adventure. The tour takes you in a Mercedes personnel transport from WW2 (German personnel), it climbs some very steep grades and in many spots you are at least 30 deg leaning…Patty surprisingly held it together, and the boys and I laughed a lot. Not as much as when we say POOOOOOP, but laughed at a bunch of other silly stuff. Once we reached the ridge we were treated to an amazing sunset over the canyon…it truly is God’s country out here!
Zion is HUGE, and it has literally has taken us a day to plan out the hikes and adventures we will be doing the next 2-3 days (schedule is still being developed).
