Day 24 July 16th, 2012:
Good morning / evening from San Diego, CA….
We are actually in Mission Bay a little north of San Diego…we started the day early by heading to Girard Awning to have one of our awnings repaired and the rest of them FINALLY adjusted from when we bought the MH…Andre, was awesome and had the repair and adjustments made in less than 3 hours…a lot faster than expected. I can’t stress enough how blown away we were by his professionalism, knowledge and speed at which he worked. This was after we think he broke his wrist making the repair. He braved it out, and got us on the road so we could get to Lego Land, a place Michael has wanted to go for at least 10 years…so it was a huge deal to finally get here.
We were expecting a small park, with nothing really to do, and to be in and out in 2 hours. After 5 hours, we all were extremely impressed! The only reason we left was because we needed to get to San Diego and I was getting tired, or else we would have stayed longer. I can say that Lego Land is a great place to visit!
My only negative statement is that I am BLOWN away with just how much of a minority we have been the past two days, between Disney Land, and Lego Land. Very strange, and in all earnest you could easily believe you were in another country. The primary spoken language is Spanish, and EVERYTHING is written in Spanish & English…weird…
Other than that all I Can say is it was just a fantastic day all around, and it is one of I think 3 out of the past 24, that I was really relaxed…not sure why considering this is the last stop West, and everything now brings us back East. OH NO, we will be home soon!
Well, it’s time to call it a night…so until the next blog…have a blessed day!
The Bro-Pose never meant so much...they were both very excited to FINALLY be here!
me and my Photo assistant!
OK...The next several pictures show just how much detail there is Lego Land...
EVERYTHING is made from Lego's....simply awesome1
Ok, not everything Michael and Nicholas are real!
I'm back in Vegas again!
Pretty close resemblance of our Motorhome!
LET GO OF MY BIRD!!!!!!!
I could have done 30 pictures of just Star Wars...perhaps the best exhibit, but unless you are a Satr Wars fan, most of the detail would be lost....these do show the lvel of detail however...
Did I ever tell you all I drove a combine once....
The boys have waited YEARS to ride this...as they came around the 1st bend, Michael WACKED his arm...and is in pain as Nicholas is laughing at him...Brotherly love. BTW, Michael is fine, just hit is elbow in the very small space of this ride.
The Dirla crew to put out a fire!
They won!
Hmmmmm I am tired of driving!
As you can see Michael was a tad too big...he snuck on the ride by acting smaller
(you needed to be 12 yrs old), then as the ride started the PoPo came and asked him to leave....here Michael and Nicholas were pleading to stay on the ride. It didn't end well....
Although he didn't ride the car...Michael was happy he FINALLY got to sit in the car!
Really another very Blessed Day for us all!!!!!
