2012 West Coast Adventure, Day 18

Day 18 July 10th, 2012:

Good evening / morning once again from Zion National Park, Utah

Today was a day of work, and packing to move through Zion National Park to the West side. The drive through the park is somewhat treacherous…extremely narrow roads with crazy switchbacks…all while descending almost 3,000 feet…Patty loved it! NOT!!!!! We all had good intentions on taking the shuttle into the park, but the 110 degrees convinced us not to, especially for me who was suffering from some heat exhaustion today…It has been brutally hot, and it caught up to us, especially me today.

Tomorrow early am., we are planning on doing the 90 minute shuttle (no air) to see the opposite of what we say yesterday from the top. After that we head about 45 minutes west to meet an HVAC mechanic to repair one of the rooftop units.

So until the next blog have a Blessed day!

Storm coming in before we left the Ponderosa...
Michael photo from the front window...you can see the very narrow road.

Over that very little curb is literally a 2,000 foot drop!

Doing this in a 43' Bus is not fun...lol

Another Blessed day!
