DAY 17 BLOG
Good afternoon from Sana Cruz, the home of Half Moon Bay Brewery and “Obama Ale”….That’s right folks, the local brewery has a beer named after our hero. I bought several cases….NOT! LOL…..
The campsite we are at sits on top of a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and it is absolutely gorgeous. We walked the winding ½ mile trek to the ocean, and we touched our toes in the Pacific to make it official that we went coast to coast. The beaches are totally undisturbed and pristine, again the preservationists are doing their job, but the alcove we were in was so windy we only stayed for 15 minuets because it was unbearable, regardless of how pretty it was.
The rest of the day we just meandered the grounds which are breathtaking and has a feel of love happiness and being at one with the earth…totally California!
Not much to report as it was a day of “Chillaxin!”
We are all doing well, and getting ready to head to San Fran today and get ready for the trade show. Until tomorrow, please have a very blessed day!

Happy Wanderers
ReplyDeleteRoad rage in CA, wonder how that happens. Remember it is the land of the looney. I spent several months in CA in 2003 & 2004 and can truely say i did not like the state. I was east of LA though not in the northern area, which I hope would be prettier. I did enjoy Joshua Tree Park area.
Who in CA has time to read all those signs? Most people are driving like crazy while taliing on their cell phones.
I am glad you got to touvh the Pacific and complete the crossing officially. Sorry I missed yesterdays blog till just now.
Pictures of the campground are great. Very nice looking area.
What, doing a little business in SF while on vacation? Mmmm, I smell a business write off for the vacation expenses...
Glad you are relax'n a little to break up the driving. Remember to get Patti driving on the return trip when you hit one of those flat states with straight roads.
I hope you and Mike are almost recovered or doing a lot better than before.
Stay Safe
Jim
