West Coast 2009, Day 9

DAY 9 BLOG

Good morning form Bryce Canyon in Utah, Day 2 of our rest stop!

Yesterday was a day of “Chillaxin”. We hung by the pool, and hike to the bottom of the Navajo loop in Bryce Canyon (1.3 miles)

Sorry for all the photos today, but I wanted you to see what we did in this Natural wonder. Every angle and view is so different, and when you are at the bottom it is literally a different world. It is absolutely gorgeous here, the skies are as blue as blue can be and the canyon reds as red as can be. The climb down and up is very steep but worth every step (BTW, don’t try this with Bronchitis, no in-haler, and no water…makes for a rough hike. Not that I would know, LOL)

Today will be doing an ATV guided tour and pool with a hopeful sunset on the west rim of the canyon.

Until tomorrow…Have a VERY BLESSED day!

Now I can really say that since I see the photographic evidence of your presence in Bryce Canyon. Thansk you very much.
It looks like everyone is having a great time and I wish I was there with you. Funny, I went hiking yesterday adn you today, we must be on the same wave length.
I love the picture of the kid behind bars. Misbehaving again I guess...lol.
ATV tour is more like it, anyone can hike. Thanks again for the great pictures. I can hardly wait till I retire to see those sites myself.
    Stay safe.
