Long STRAIGHT roads, with
unbelievable views...A MUST SEE STATE!
We are over 2,500 feet above sea level now and are starting to see "Bad Lands" style formations.
Ok, I'm a total "Nerd" I bought an Altimeter for this trip...I needed to give the kids some more things to make fun of me about...

TONS of wheat fields. It is harvesting season(that's right I know what that is because I harvested Soy Beans once in a John Deere Combine). During the trip we went through several almost white outs from the dust. A very weird experience.
US Army Air Calvary Base. As last year brought on feelings of pride to be an American, when I see these bases scattered throughout the US, it only galvanizes my pride for all of our young men and women protecting or freedom. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
