DAY 27 BLOGGood morning from Lake Powell at Glen Canyon National Park, day 2 here.
This will be a VERY short BLOG with very little photo’s. Yesterday we did NOTHING, but lay on the beach! What a change and treat. It is a magnificent lake, and Nicholas wants to come back for a week and rent a house boat. The lake is huge, some 200 miles winding through the canyon. From what we have heard you can spend several weeks driving up the lake and just anchoring on remote out coves.
We all can say this is another revisit at some point!

Wow.. what a trip Dirlas.. we are so lucky that you have been able to share your day to day with us! What an experience! However, I am tired just thinking about it!! Looking forward to hearing about what you all thought looking back on this!

ReplyDeleteI did not mean to ignore you for a couple days, but I was sidelined out of touch. I got to spent Wednesday-Friday in the hospital trying to get my infection clear up. I am much better now and back home again. The only good part was I got to miss work for a week. Although that means there will be more stuff piled up when I get there Monday.
Browsed back through the missed segments and enjoyed the pictures and dailt tales. Wish I was chillaxin by Lake Powell for a couple of days too.
If you were in politics or a local office, I would say you took this trip to avoid the ruckess back home in NJ..ha,ha.
