DAY 15 BLOG
Good morning / afternoon from VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!!!!! Yesterday we were the consummate TOUREST’S!
Since Michael and I are still not hitting on all cylinders and it was 105 deg we decided to rent a limo for the afternoon and be driven around to all the spots. Since Circus Circus is basically 3 miles one way to any of the “Good” hotels we figured we would be in Cabs most of the day so what the heck for another few (and it was only a few after we figured it out) lets be totally spoiled…
It was SO worth it. In the 3 times I have been here, this was by far the best. We were able to basically “Power View” all the hot spots, ride the roller coaster at New York, and relax to watch the Chris Angel show which was pretty cool.
As a family we decided to forego a formal “Dinner” and snack our way through the day and after the show we took the limo to an off the strip burger joint called “In N Out“(recommended by Thadius, our driver). For those familiar with White Rose Burger system in Highland Park, it’s just like that but bigger and cleaner.
Well, the kids cannot get over we drove to a burger joint in a stretch limo I think it was the highlight of the trip for them.
In all earnest it was a treat for me too, as I did not have to worry or lament over plans, we had someone doing that for us and I could sit back and watch the sites.
We have an 8 hour drive today, so we need to push out of here shortly, so until tomorrow, have a very blessed day!

ReplyDelete"The life of the rich and famous takes hold of the Wanderers, story at 11PM."
Hob Nobbing in a Limos all over Vegas, again I am bumbed I did not get that join the family ticket be Fed-X. Glad you were able to have a great time. Too much porn, go figure, nice place like Vegas built on gambling and prost...where did things go wrong.
We had a great time camping, but really missed you. It was sunny without a cloud for the drive home. There was a storm during the night, but not too bad. We had a hughe smorgasborg dinner last night at the Shade Maples. Food was great and plentiful.
Enjoy your drive and break Patti into driving to give you a break when there is littl traffic and good roads.
Stay safe.
Jim
