2012 West Coast Adventure, Day 22

Day 22 July 14th, 2012:

Good afternoon once again from Disneyland, CA….

Today was a restful and FANTASTIC day…except our #2 AC unit broke, but fortunately I had the part to fix it, this makes 3 AC failures this trip…LOL!

After the quick repair on the AC, we ventured North to see Hollywood, Beverly Hills, the beach, Ocean, and most important to see my cousin Mitch and his girlfriend Mimi…

Not quite sure how people deal with the traffic out here, but WOW, its dense and the driver’s crazy! Seems you can’t drive fast enough and aggressive enough, even the cops beep their horns if you are going to slow…very crazy!

We tried to do some sightseeing, and were able to get up into the Hollywood mountain area, and then down through Beverley Hills, and eventually to Hermosa Beach where Mitch lives…He lives in a very cool ranch about 1 ½ miles from the beach.  We decided to stop at the beach first to do the nerdy 8 foot shot...water was nice air was COLD, so we didn;t stay long . However, if you have been following the blog, you will get this immediately…I WAS LITERALLY POOOOOOOPED on by a seagull! After it was cleaned up, we all couldn’t stop laughing…what are the chances!

Ok, back to Mitch’s…we hung at his house and had a few drinks, and snacks while Nicholas played on a very cool spring-less trampoline, and we all played with Fritz (an adorable little toy poodle…)

We then went to the pier for dinner…the boys got to drive in Mitch’s Maserati (the highlight of the trip for them!)…once we arrived at the pier we realized it would be an experience, it is a cross between Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant…literally a bunch of restaurants, and dozens of dunk people! Patty was hugged and kissed by a drunk stranger (harmless, or else I would had issues with the police again), Mimi, was hit on by a few guys, and then the best was the 40+ year old women who decided to throw up SEVERAL times about 10’ away from us. The boys were hysterical, Mitch was upset he didn’t YouTube it since he saw it coming and should have been more prepared and started taking over under bets to monetize the show! The restaurant eventually washed down the leftovers, and we had a great “bar” meal! Hanging with Mitch and Mimi, was really a fantastic surprise, since it was not even on our agenda…the boys absolutely love Mitch, and just shooting the breeze with him, having a few drinks and watching the crowd was beyond awesome!
