Good evening from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We decided to leave the Seattle region for MANY reasons, and head more towards the mountains and starting to work our way back East – don’t get to excited we still have several days and 3,000 miles before we are back in NJ…LOL.
It was a rainy start and for the first few hours of leaving Washington we had some windy roads and a few climbs, the highest being 4,000 feet. After 100 miles or so the road leveled out and was straight once again and almost saw the Earth curve once again - and we were able to do 75mph for a few hours uninterrupted. It is the 1st time in SEVERAL days we were able to do that. The last goodbye gift from the Washington drivers was traffic for no reason near Spokane, and ALL the lovely drivers I have grow to DESPISE threw everything they had at me…but I prevailed and frustrated many of them…LOL. All and all a very quiet day with stories and photos sorry…The campground we are at looks really nice and we may lay over here a day or so and rest. But with many things you just don’t know…Upon our arrival we did get a call from back home that one of my very dear uncle’s is in very bad shape so I ask, everyone to say a few extra prayers for his peace…Love you Uncle Rocky!
Until the next blog please have a Blessed day!
Scenery is opening back up, actually very nice drive today on Rt. 90
Very close if not being able to see the Earth Curve...
