Good evening from North Bend, Oregon…the Dunes.
Today was one heck of day! By far the most technical driving day EVER…250 miles, and it was “S” turns and up and down mountains for 7 hours…very tough drive from Diamond Lake to the coast. Extremely beautiful drive, but WOW was it mentally stressful. Patty has been a trooper and keeps us all in shape, but like me she is exhausted from the drive as well…and that was as the passenger!
We did make two stops along the way, one at a waterfall that was really peaceful, and then to Country Coach, the birthplace of our Baby who has gotten us to the West Coast once again.
We met the new owner Ron Lee of Country Coach and spent about an hour getting a private tour of the facility and the plans for the new coaches…I really hope they make it through this patch of tough times! They are – not just because we have one – simply just the Best Coach made!
Tonight we are at a campground next to the dunes we plan on driving tomorrow on ATV’s. All I will say is this is an interesting place…The boys are excited about tomorrow, and I am looking forward to sleep…
So until the next Blog, please have a Blessed Day!
From our campground before we left this morning.
A Nicholas shot...of the cutest little mix between a squirrel and chipmunk.
Really BIG trees.
