2011 North West Adventure, Day 21

Day 21 July 23rd 2011:

Good evening for the 2nd blog of the day…we will sleep in tomorrow since it is the last chance for a true rest day…so I figured I would blog today’s events tonight.

We stayed by the campground all day, and around 3:00 decided to go for a Helicopter ride. WOW…what an awesome thing to do, especially here. This park is absolutely ENORMOUS, I think 1 million acres or something like that. We saw things you would never see from the ground, and it really was breathe taking!

Of course I ended up with a little Vertigo, but it was very much worth it. Patty, Michael and Nicholas LOVED it. We only did 30 min., because any-longer would have done real damage to me…so the 30 min was JUST ENOUGH, not just for me but for all of us. It was very windy today so we were in turbulence most if not all the time.

The Glaciers are wicked cool to see from above, and the lakes that formed all the falls we saw yesterday was even cooer.

Tomorrow we white water raft, and then maybe a little hiking to see if we can find some wild life…

Until the next Blog, please have a very BLESSED Day!

Big Nick, Chilaxin!

Back of Patty's head...she was the co-pilot so I am glad she was looking forward!

Micheal...the photographer for most of the images...since I was a tad dizzy after 15 min....

Fire station HIGH above the mountains.

One of the falls we saw yesterday.
